Presbyterian College: Digital Learning Production Program
A new library of documentary grade online course videos, built under the guidance of the Leadership Center of Presbyterian College. The goal was MasterClass level production quality through a workflow small institutions can actually sustain. Studio audio, clean visuals, motion graphics, and a scalable template that keeps faculty focused on teaching and the next series from starting at zero.
The JS Project
Under the guidance of the Leadership Center of Presbyterian College, Journey Society built a documentary quality production model for a new library of online course videos. The benchmark was Great Courses and MasterClass, not for budget but for what they get right about pacing, audio clarity, and visual consistency. The pipeline runs through Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects with Maya handling 3D work, supported by motion graphics and studio grade sound. The model is built as a repeatable template, designed so each instructor enters an established production framework.
A Low Barrier Approach
Working from each professor's existing material, Journey Society collaborated with faculty on look, design, and flow. Journey Society contributed the technical infrastructure, expertise, and production pipeline. The contents of each course, and how they were taught, were entirely up to the instructors themselves. The goal was to translate course material into engaging, professional grade content. Each instructor brought a unique look, flow, and process to the work. The project is ongoing and early previews have received positive feedback.
